Most group fitness classes are designed for the average person. F.I.T. isn‘t.

Fonda keeps her in-person classes small — never more than 6 women — because that‘s the only way to give every single person in the room real attention. She knows your name. She knows your knee bothers you on Thursdays. She knows when you‘re holding back and when you‘re ready to push harder.

That‘s not something you get in a gym. It's not something you get in a big fitness class.

What Actually Happens
in a F.I.T. Class

Every class is different — that's intentional. Fonda rotates through strength training, circuit intervals, TRX, rebounding, and core work so your body never plateaus and your brain never gets bored.

Here's what stays the same every single time:

  • A warm welcome. Whether it‘s your first class or your five hundredth, you‘ll feel it the moment you walk in.
     

  • A real warm-up. Every class starts with proper preparation so your body is ready to work and less likely to get hurt.
     

  • Form-first coaching. Fonda watches. She corrects. She adjusts. Because doing it right matters more than doing it fast.
     

  • Modifications for everyone. Working around an injury? Coming back after a long break? There is always a version of every exercise that works for your body right now.
     

  • A cool-down and stretch. Every class ends properly — because recovery is part of the workout.
     

  • "Let‘s play!" It‘s not just a catchphrase — it‘s a philosophy. This is supposed to be hard AND fun. Both things are true.

Classes run 45–60 minutes. You‘ll leave sweaty, accomplished, and already looking forward to next time.

Two Ways to Take a F.I.T. Class

In Person — Wilmington Studio

Fonda‘s studio is located in the PharmGate Building at 1800 Sir Tyler Drive in Wilmington, NC, just minutes from Mayfaire. It‘s a warm, welcoming space — not intimidating, not a place where anyone is going to make you feel out of place.

In-person classes are capped at 6 women. That's not a marketing line — it‘s a hard limit, because more than that and it stops feeling like F.I.T. and starts feeling like everywhere else.

Live Online — From Anywhere

Fonda‘s online classes are live and interactive — not pre-recorded videos you watch alone. You'll see Fonda, she'll see you, and you'll work out in real time alongside other women no matter where you are.

Same coaching. Same energy. Same modifications. Just no commute.

Tuesday and Thursday 7:00 am classes and Saturday 9:00 am classes are available both in person at the studio AND live online simultaneously — so you can choose week by week based on your schedule.

You Don‘t Have to Be in Shape to Start. You Just Have to Start.

F.I.T. has welcomed women who haven‘t exercised in years. Women recovering from surgery. Women in their 60s who thought that ship had sailed. Women who were terrified to walk in the door and came back the next day.

Fonda has coached women through:

  • Post-pregnancy recovery

  • Post-menopause changes

  • Joint replacements and surgeries

  • Years-long gaps in exercise

What to Bring

For In-Person Classes

Just yourself, a small towel, and a water bottle. The studio has everything you need.

For Online Classes

A little space to move and a water bottle. Here's what Fonda recommends for equipment:

Dumbbells

(light: 1–5 lbs, medium: 8–12 lbs, heavier: 15–20 lbs)

Resistance bands

Ankle weights

Exercise mat

Pilates ball

Sliders

(paper plates on carpet work just as well — seriously)

 

You don't need all of this to start. Show up with what you have and build from there.
